Welcome to the Montgomery Middle Schools' PTA!

 

FUNDRAISING

The MMS PTA manages a yearly operating budget in excess of $50,000. A tidy sum that pays for close to 50 programs, all of which benefit our kids, teachers and schools. Raising that kind of money is no small effort. It takes a lot of parent volunteers, the support of our Staff, families and community, all coming forward to contribute what they can. Our fundraising philosophy is simple and revolves around the notion that people are busy and finances are often tight. We concentrate our efforts on a few big fundraisers each year in an effort to get the most bang for our buck (so to speak) and then offer opportunities for our community to make individual contributions through our E-Asy Incentive Program.

Fundraising Calendar

Here's a peek at what we have planned this year. Remember, our fundraising philosophy is to focus on a few major fundraising events rather than a lot of little ones. Our success largely depends on people like you – we appreciate your participation in whatever capacity you decide.

  • PTA Membership and Student Donation
  • Families are encouraged to join the MMS PTA, the majority of your membership dollars go directly to your PTA. The PTA also asks for families to donate to support PTA funded school programs.

  • Our biggest fundraiser is offered to support the PTA Cultural Art Assembly program and Teacher Mini-Grant Program at both LMS and UMS.

E-Asy Incentive Programs

This is a "no brainer" type of fundraising that really works with minimal effort on your part. Here's a brief overview of our E-Asy Incentive fundraising:

Box Tops for Education: Our school has the potential to make over $5000 so please start supporting your PTA and school by visiting the Box Tops Market Place at: www.btef.com and sign up for the Montgomery Middle School to receive your bonus points (aka – CASH.)

Target Take Charge of Education Campaign: Do you shop at Target? If so, apply for a Target credit card and 1% of all purchases at Target and Target.com are donated to the school of your choice! For more info on that program, you can visit www.target.com/tcoe. The Lower Middle School ID is 73432 and the Upper Middle School is 15448.
